Created by a friendly professional for other friendly professionals (and novices, too!), Studio Z provides personal attention to your demo, CD, or client project.
Offering audio production, editing, and post for music, television, video, film, and the web, the 255 sq. foot live room has 16 foot ceilings, a Brambach grand piano, a Roland HP-2500S digital piano, and guitars and basses from Fender, Parker, and Bil Mitchell. Also available are hardware synthesizers from E-MU, Novation, and Roland. Comfortable isolation for overdubs, narration/VO, and spoken-word recording, AutoHybrid phone patch, and easy gear load-in, makes Studio Z the smart choice for your next project.
Modern and classic production gear begins with a wide selection of mics from Neumann, AKG, Audix, Electro-Voice, Shure, Sennheiser, and Michael Joly/OktavaMod. Microphone amplification and signal processing includes Avalon, Drawmer, Universal Audio, Focusrite, Lexicon, Kurzweil, and Mercury Recording Equipment. The Mac-based recording platform is a ProTools-compatible MOTU HD192 system running Logic Pro, as well as numerous software synths, samplers, sound modules, and plug-ins. Mixing is through a Midas Venice 320 console. Monitoring is through JBL LSR series, and Event 20/20s powered by Carver.
